Honolulu, HI (June 12, 2023) - A young boy, age 3, sustained serious injuries when he nearly drowned in a pool in Waikiki on Sunday, July 11. Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene at around 3:00 p.m. to render aid. 

Sources say the incident took place on Aloha Drive at a birthday party. Paramedics treated the boy and took him to the hospital by ambulance. He remains in the hospital in serious condition at this time.

No one involved in the incident has been identified. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by police in Honolulu.
