Maui, HI (June 13, 2023) - A serious car accident happened in Maui on the night of June 11. Shortly before 10:30 p.m., emergency responders went to the scene to help the people involved. 

Sources report the incident occurred on the Honoapi’ilani Highway near Launiupoko Beach Park when at least two vehicles collided. Paramedics helped those with injuries at the scene and transported them to area hospitals as needed. 

The Maui Police Department and Fire Engine 3 responded to the crash scene shortly after the incident occurred. Local responders remained on the road for an extended period of time, causing significant delays in traffic.
