Hana, HI (May 29, 2023) – At least one person was left with injuries following an automobile accident that took place in the Hana area on Monday morning, May 29.

At around 8:20 a.m., the police and firefighters were called to the scene of a crash on Hana Highway 360.

Reports from authorities indicate that a collision between vehicles took place on the roadway in the area between mile marker six and mile marker seven. Authorities responded to the scene and shut down a portion of the roadway as they worked to provide assistance.

The Maui Police Department and Engine 2 with the fire department responded to the scene and blocked off multiple lanes.

Medics responded to care for victims and transport them to a local hospital.
