Honolulu, HI (March 27, 2023) - Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a car crash in Waikiki on the afternoon of March 24. Crews were seen helping those involved at the scene at approximately 1:43 p.m. 

Reports from authorities show the incident occurred on Ala Wai Boulevard just before Lili’uokalani Avenue. An unspecified number of vehicles were involved in the accident. 

One or more injured patients were treated and transported to area hospitals as necessary. The road was blocked for some time while crews worked in the area, forcing local drivers to use alternate routes. 

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
