In the state of Hawaii, tens of thousands of car accidents are reported per year. These crashes are caused mostly by negligent driving. Auto accidents happen for countless reasons, including car problems, inclement weather, and more. Negligent driving is the main reason crashes take place in Hawaii and throughout the United States. Currently, in the Aloha state, the most prevalent form of negligent driving is driver intoxication. Intoxicated driving is one of the most dangerous forms of driver negligence because drivers who are high and/or drunk have impaired judgment, vision, and delayed reaction times. All of these together make for a disastrous and even deadly combination while behind the wheel of a moving vehicle.
Every year, in the United States, driver intoxication takes the lives of over 15,000 people. Other forms of negligent driving that are commonly seen in the United States include fatigue, distraction, and speeding. When you or someone you love is hurt by the actions of a negligent driver, you deserve to be able to recover without worrying about your finances. You should not have to spend your savings or even go broke when you are hurt in an accident.
