Kihei, HI (May 27, 2023) - A serious traffic accident involving a scooter and a vehicle happened in Kihei on the evening of May 27. At approximately 7:38 p.m., crews were seen rendering aid at the scene. 

The people who sustained injuries in the collision have not been identified at this time. The crash happened near the Azeka Malua Shopping Center when the vehicles collided. 

Paramedics helped those with injuries and transported them to the hospital if needed.
