Maui, HI (June 18, 2023) - In the early morning hours of Sunday, June 18, a serious car crash happened in Maui that required an emergency response. Reports from authorities show the incident occurred just before 2:30 a.m. 

Multiple emergency workers were sent to the scene of the collision on Lahaina Bypass Road near Ka Hele Ku Street. Reports from authorities show vehicles crashed in the area; however, why it happened is still unknown at this time. 

Paramedics and police officers went to the crash site to render aid directly following the incident. Those with serious injuries were rendered aid by EMTs and taken to area hospitals if needed.
