Maui, HI (June 5, 2023) - On Monday, June 5, a serious car crash happened in Maui that required an emergency dispatch. At approximately 2:00 p.m., the incident took place on Waiale Road. 

Two or more cars collided in the area, injuring one woman. The incident occurred at the intersection of Waiale Road near Kuikahi Drive for currently unknown reasons. 

The roadway was blocked while emergency responders worked in the area, causing significant delays in traffic. One woman reportedly sustained injuries to her neck, however, her name has not been reported at this time. 

The Maui Police Department, as well as emergency medics, were observed at the scene for some time after the accident occurred.
